Our poultices are made by hand in the time honored art of poultice preparation, without the use of stainless steel instruments (utensils, mixers, bowls) to ensure high conductivity of the clays. The unique concentration of clays and essential oils are designed for a thin layer application. Although a heavy or thick application can be applied, it is not necessary. Using a thin layer will produce superior results.
Directions for Use:
For Animal Use Only.
Cover area with a thin layer of Traumera. Let dry before washing off. Can be applied several times per day as needed, applied on top of other topical medications, or around the area being treated.

I used this on a wound on my rooster’s leg that my hens wouldn’t stop pecking. I used the Traumera poultice, wrapped his leg and it healed the spot up in a couple of days. Great product!

I ordered this poultice for my dog who has chronic interdigital cysts. I had tried homemade poultices but the mess was too much. While waiting to for an appt with an herbalist to manage the underlying issue, this paste helped keep her infections localized. It was not enough to rid her completely of the infections but I did see immediate results. I plan to always have this on hand for infections and skin irritations on my dog and myself.

I’m sure it’s good, if used. It was more like clay than I’d expected, so it just sat on top of my dog's foot and then fell off. (I know I was supposed to put a sock over it, but that would have been impossible with my Rottweiler.) I mixed it with a little water to cause it to stay on, and then he ate it. I decided to stop using it.
