United StatesI have an OTTB that has been treated for severe squamous and pyloric ulcers. I have always had to use Ulcergard starting 24 hours before any competition and continue throught out the show. My horse always had very runny stool and a nervous attitude during the show even with daily Ulcergard. My horse has had a rough road with, what we now believe is, pyloric stenosis (or narrowing of the pyloric region). My mare also has many allergies. We never have to worry about them spitting it out and wasting it because they see us coming with the tube and open their mouth to get ready.
