Favorite BioStar Products:

Rebound EQ: I started my horse, Toy Soldier, on this product before making the 20+ hr trip to Maryland from Wellington, FL. He bounced back from the physical and mental stress of the trip like it was nothing, and his body has never felt better.
Equilibrium EQ: I can’t live without this product for my spooky Lipizzan. Equilibrium helps him achieve the focus and relaxation needed in daily training.
Bio Flora EQ
and Empower EQ: Amazing products for maintaining a healthy immune system and digestive support.

Testimonial:

“The success I’ve found with my horses through Biostar products and the whole food diet is remarkable to say the least. My main competition horse, Toy Soldier, struggled with maintaining proper hind gut health all season last winter, and had frequent bouts of diarrhea and ongoing stomach/hind-gut ulcers. He had a permanent bloat, and his discomfort had a detrimental effect on his performance. Tigger has an immense amount of knowledge on equine health and was so helpful designing a diet to get Toy’s body on the right track. Biostar products that were selected for him include Bio Flora EQ, Empower EQ, Rebound EQ. After these diet changes, Toy and I debuted our first U25 Grand Prix and qualified for the Brentina Cup at the Festival of Champions, where we earned the title of Reserve Champion. I strongly believe this achievement wouldn’t have been possible without Tigger’s guidance and the Biostar supplements. Toy, along with my other horses, will never go without Biostar and the whole foods diet!”

Now with an organic farm, and the opportunity to train with David de Wispelaere full time, Katrin hopes to achieve some of her competitive goals and dreams.

Favorite BioStar Products:

Optimum EQ, Bio Flora EQ, Gold Star, Tum Ease, and Chia Seeds.

Testimonial:

“All my horses and most of the boarder horses are on a whole food diet with Optimum EQ and Chia Seeds. They are all sound, happy, healthy and ready to work . When new horses come to the barn, it is amazing to see how they transform when they shift to the whole food diet. Their feet are healthier, and their coats are more vibrant and shiny. All the horses become more consistent in their training and are more alert without being stressed. They eat more hay and keep good weight. Tigger has helped me learn about how to see the horses for who they are and how to follow my intuition about each one. Optimum EQ is their essential feed, and the organic hay we grow. The whole food diet is like a supplement we can add to get the results we need: weight, energy, stamina. My horses will never go without Biostar products and a whole food diet.”

Liz Austin

Website:

Liz Austin Dressage

Current Residence:

Waco, Kentucky

Biography:

Liz Austin has been a dressage competitor since 1989 (she was five). She began riding sales horses for her mother, Madeleine Austin, when she was twelve, the same year she started her first horse under saddle. At sixteen she competed in her first Prix St. Georges on a horse she trained herself and by twenty-two she made her Grand Prix dressage debut in Europe riding Olivier, her mother’s homebred stallion.

Top Accomplishments:

  • Competed in Two Grand Prix National Championships
  • Competed in two World Dressage Masters (youngest competitor ever) including a 3rd place finish in Grand Prix Special
  • Long Listed for 2010 World Equestrian Games
  • Reserve Rider for 2011 FEI World Cup Final
  • Two Time National Champion (Brentina Cup)
  • Individual Silver Medalist at North American Young Rider Championships

Favorite BioStar Products:

BioStar Bites and MetaBites EQ.

Testimonial:

"I love my horses. To me, their health and happiness is paramount. After feeding processed feeds for years and enduring all the stomach issues that go along with them, with Tigger's helped I switched my horses to a whole food diet. As a result they are happier, healthier and look better than ever before. I am constantly blown away by the BioStar US products and Tigger's desire to improve ALL horse's lives and not just meet the bottom line like other major manufacturers. Horses were never meant to eat processed foods and I truly believe the metabolic issues, stomach issues and lameness issues we see in our horses today are a largely a result of being fed the wrong grain and the wrong supplements. For me, it really is a no brainer."

Allison Kavey

Website:

Rivendell Dressage

Current Residence:

Millbrook, NY, USA

Biography:

Allison started riding at the age of four in LaFayette, NY after her mother said she could have lessons if she washed her face without complaining for a year. She rode ponies and Morgans in dressage, huntseat equitation, and eventing. While studying at Cornell University, she largely turned her attention to dressage. She represented region 8 at the NAYRC in 1997 and 1998 on Dorian, a horse she could afford because of his bolting problem and late flying changes. She went on to bring the Trakehner Elessar, a 6 year old horse she broke herself, through the FEI, though a torn deep digital flexor tendon ended his career before he could compete at the Grand Prix.

Top Accomplishments:

With Andrea Woodner’s Lusitano stallion QueBa HM, Allison has competed through the Grand Prix, earning reserve champion for region 8 in the Grand Prix Freestyle and 9th in the USDF Dressage Finals in 2016. They also finished 9th in the Grand Prix Freestyle at GDF CDI*** in March, 2016. They were 2nd in the medium tour at Dressage at Devon in 2015. With Gabrielle Heertje’s Hanoverian mare Amidala, Allison was high score athlete for the medium tour at CDI Saugerties in 2016 and qualified for region 8 championships in the I2. After a strong first competition season at 3rd and 4th level, Andrea Woodner’s Cacharel moved up to the PSG and won a large stakes class at Mystic Valley Hunt Club.

Favorite BioStar Products:

Three things make BioStar different from other supplement companies on the market: Tigger’s expertise and attention to detail, the quality of the ingredients, and the science behind the nutrition. QueBa and Amidala rely on Optimum JS and Colostrum to keep them competing at the highest levels of the sport. Amidala’s show anxiety has become manageable thanks to Equilibrium and Thera Calm. Amidala and Cacharel consistently benefit from the circulation support provided by Furnace EQ. Tigger really understands that every horse is different, and she can always help find the right thing to help each horse maximize her potential.

Ali Perkins

Ali Perkins on Instagram

Current Residence:

Biography:

Ali participated in Lendon Gray’s Winter Intensive Training Program, a three-month dressage “boot camp” in Wellington, Florida. The program exposed Ali to all aspects of dressage. She was able to begin competing in dressage and became a full time groom at the Winter Circuit for Argentinian competitors, Mica Marbrugana and Cesar Lepardo-Grana for two seasons. Ali was also spent a season riding with two of Tuny Page’s horses under her guidance. In 2016, Ali returned to the WIT program as Lendon’s assistant, and was given a Dressage4Kids donation horse, Santé. Santé is a 16 year old, Dutch Warmblood. Favorite BioStar Product:

Favorite BioStar Product:

“I use Thera Calm EQ on two horses in my barn because both are a bit uptight and tend to be quite anxious about the stress of their work. Most of their dressage tests have built-in anxiety rather than keeping the same demeanor throughout, but after using Thera Calm for two weeks one horse had the best test he’s had and his anxiety was noticeably less. My mare’s everyday work and training has been more consistent as well since I started her on Thera Calm, and she’s more focused and relaxed. As we all know, happy gut happy horse!“
